Join us on Saturday, April 29th as we celebrate Authors for Indies, a Canada-wide celebration of the intimate connection between authors and independent bookshops.

Helping us celebrate on Saturday are:

Brenda Chapman (10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.) a marvellous mystery writer with four books in her current series (Stonechild and Rouleau mysteries set in Ottawa and Kingston)

Sandra Perron (12 to 2) fresh from an appearance at The Ottawa Writers Festival. Her memoir details the struggles of being Canada’s first female infantry officer.

Charlotte Grey (12:45 to 1:45) joins us to talk about her most recent book (The Promise of Canada) as well as her many other fascinating histories of Canada.

Amanda West Lewis (3 pm to 4 pm) Well known for her young adult titles, Amanda will be here to discuss her most recent books, September 17th and The Pact. Great YA reads!!
