Perfect Books can host events in our shop on selected evenings (usually Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays). These events often take the form of launches or poetry readings.

This service is limited to books published by a recognized Canadian publisher. It is not available to self-published authors.

We are able to free up half of the store’s floor space and we can seat a maximum of 35 people in that space. Our suggested times for such events are from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

We will post the event on our website and in our social media accounts and provide light refreshments. No food or alcohol is permitted.

However this is not a “free” space. In order to pay the salaries of employees who set up and take down the configuration and to host the event, we must be able to achieve a profit.

For a small fee we will provide the space and staff it.

Your responsibilities are as follows

• submitting a poster for our window
